Animal Prisons

Animals locked up in zoos, aquariums, circuses, and other places are simply not happy. This is due to boredom, lack of exercise, stress and many other factors. These animals are locked in cages so small that they barely have any room to move around. This causes a lack of exercise because they do not get to run, swim, or fly freely. Lack of exercise leads to health problems. For animals such as tigers or lions, hunting is no longer available. Not only is hunting a good form of exercise, it is also entertainment to them. Without being able to hunt, these animals become very bored. To add to the suffering, these animals are under extreme stress. With people constantly looking at them and taking pictures, the animals rarely get any privacy. This causes them to become stressed. These places are like prisons for animals except the animals didn’t do anything wrong.
